E-Session Joanne and Jonathan

Saturday, July 10th, 2010

We drove way up to Ballycastle to meet Joanne and Jonathan for their engagement shoot, it started out lovely but after 20 minutes the rain started! Luckily Joanne had the most useless umbrella ever, we did get some lovely photo’s though!

Giedre and Robin

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

We had a bit of a drive for this wedding, we started out at the Birches, then onto Portrush, then Whiterocks Beach, then Dunluce Castle, then Portballintrae and we finished off in Ballymena for the reception at Galgorm Manor!

It was a lovely day and I have never met a bride that posed more than Giedre, she didn’t stop the whole day! Robin was more than happy to simply go with the flow and enjoy the sunshine!

Alison and Colin

Monday, May 10th, 2010

It was such a lovely day yesterday for Alison and Colin, there were just enough of the fluffy clouds in the sky to make it look interesting for our photos! There was a minor fire in St Marks just hours before the wedding but disaster was averted and you wouldn’t have known! Everyone was having a great time, the choir were fantastic and the sun was shining. You can’t ask for much more than that!

Here are some of the Photos, there are more on our facebook page!

Lisa and Gerard

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

The girls all seemed very excited when we arrived in Warrenpoint on Friday morning, this was before the champagne had even been opened! There was toast flying everywhere dogs being shouted at and the usual conundrum of how to pin a flower onto a jacket without stabbing your finger!

Gerard was a little nervous but hid this well by pretending he was worried about the rain (there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and the sun was splitting the trees!). All went well and although the beach was chilly it was lovely.

It was then on to Newry for the reception so the guests and bridesmaids could play a quick game of “Step On The Veil”.

As Lisa is a big Facebook fan we have uploaded a small gallery to our facebook page. Fans of our page can share the photo’s!

Catherine and David

Friday, January 15th, 2010

I’m very late posting this blog, things have been a little hectic lately!

As we got closer to the bridal prep I was thinking that Davids ice climbing skills may just come in handy, everywhere was frozen! We were at the foot of the Sperrins and the snow was thick on the not so distant mountains!

The ceremony was lovely and the chapel was very bright, modern and best of all warm! The reception was buzzing and everyone was enjoying the company and the nibbles and just ignoring the ice outside.

Have a look at some of the pics, including the Tango!

Lauren and Chris

Friday, December 11th, 2009

Usually when a Bride asks us not to forget to photograph their dog it’s a rat like creature called something like ‘Fluffy’ or ‘Sparkles’. We were greeted by a big friendly Dulux dog called Paddy! When she’s not looking after Paddy, Lauren likes to look at lakes and destroy every car she touches…

Chris was very relaxed about the whole thing and the church looked very Christmassy, the carols during the service helped with this too!

Cabra Castle is a lovely location normally, but with the Christmas Trees and all the decoration it was just fantastic and more than made up for the lack of daylight at this time of year!

Helen and Thomas

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

It’s gotten seriously cold lately and it was no different at our wedding last week. The sun was shining though, so Ruth bought me a new scarf and off we went.

We started at Helen’s Mum and Dads house for bridal prep, there were enough sandwiches to feed an army on the table and everyone was very calm!

The guys were waiting with Thomas at the church where we got a few shots and waited for Helen to arrive. Everyone was very upbeat and in great spirits, from the Bridal party to the guests and with everyone enjoying themselves the atmosphere was great!

After the ceremony there was a brief stop at Hillsborough Fort for some photo’s and then onto the Merchant in Belfast. Even though it was cold outside I doubt that anyone noticed, there was that much messing about going on!

Beulah and Stephen

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

Saturdays wedding was very interesting! There were two ceremonys, two locations, cupcakes and french boules! It was a very easy going, fun day (although at one point we did loose Brian) and apart from one very brief shower the day couldn’t have been better!

Caroline and Canice

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

It was a good day on Saturday, Ruth was back to shooting after having Samuel and the rain that everyone was talking about stayed away mostly!

We arrived at the reception running so late that we only had 45 minutes to shoot but Caroline was calm and really got into the shoot so everything worked out great!

Tina and Scot

Saturday, September 12th, 2009

We have been lucky with the weather at the moment, so Tina and Scot couldn’t have planned it better! The Bangor / Crawfordsburn area is a lovely part of the country and with everyone being so relaxed it was a great atmosphere. More very random Photos!
