We were down Lisburn/Belfast direction yesterday for the Wedding of Leeann and Scott. We started in Leeann’s Mum and Dads house for bridal prep and bacon sandwiches. Leeann was relaxed, which was surprising as her sisters were going mad.
Leeann had what she called her ‘indulgence’, a beautiful full length coat that in my opinion was a necessity in the cold weather! Scott just seemed happy to go with the flow and enjoy the day!
It’s nearly the end of 2008, and the year has flown past! This year Ruth decided to pick up her camera and join me at Weddings adding a whole new perspective and style to our portfolio, even if she does keep loosing my lens cloths…
Studio portraits went well this year, and we have decided to add a new style of photography to give our clients a little more choice. As you know we already offer ‘High Key’ Portraits (bright white background) but we will also be offering ‘Low Key’ Portraits (dark grey background see example below) as we find that headshots in this style can realy bring out the personality in young children.
As we are offering this new style (we still do the bright white background too) we have decided to go all out and offer free sittings to let you judge for yourself!

We were recently at Nicole and Terry’s Wedding, ceremony at the Civic Center with photo’s at Lurgan Park and on to the Banville for the reception.
Nicole and Terry were kind enough to allow us to bring Rachel (who was with us from Markethill High on work experience) to allow her to take photo’s along with Ruth and I and I must say she did well! It was a cold day but the sun was out and it was just before sunset which is the best time for photo’s.
The speeches were some of the best I have ever been to, I was laughing so hard that I almost dropped the camera!
We have been busy, so the Blog has suffered a bit!
I’m going to gett blogging like mad to try to get updated, we do try and put up a good few of our sittings and all of our weddings but sometimes there just isn’t time!
Hopefully things will be back on track after this weekend.
